Privacy Policy
This campaign believes your privacy is a right, not a preference. Here is exactly what this website does and does not do with your information.
What this website does not do.
This website does not use cookies. It does not run analytics. There are no tracking pixels, no retargeting scripts, and no third-party advertising tools. There is no account system and no login. When you browse this site without submitting the sign-up form, we do not know who you are, and that is by design.
The sign-up form.
The "Get Involved" form on the homepage collects the information you voluntarily provide: your name, email address, phone number (optional), a message (optional), and whichever interest checkboxes you select. This information is stored in a private campaign database hosted on Replit. It is used solely for campaign communications and organizing purposes — to follow up on your inquiry, send you relevant updates if you opt in, or coordinate volunteer activities. We do not sell this information, share it with any political party or outside organization, or use it for targeted advertising. You can request that your information be corrected or deleted at any time by contacting us.
Opt-out signals honored.
This website honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and all browser-based opt-out preferences. Because we do not track visitors, opt-out compliance for analytics and advertising is automatic. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or GPC signal, there is nothing to turn off on the tracking front. The sign-up form is entirely voluntary — submitting it is your choice.
Google Fonts.
This site loads two typefaces (IBM Plex Mono and IBM Plex Serif) from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these fonts, Google receives your IP address and standard browser information. Google states that it does not use this data for advertising or create personal profiles from font requests. You can review Google Fonts' privacy FAQ for more detail.
Hosting.
This site is hosted on Replit. As part of standard web hosting, Replit may collect technical information such as IP addresses in server logs. This is governed by Replit's privacy policy. Campaign staff do not have access to these hosting-level logs.
Campaign email.
The campaign uses Google Workspace for email. When you email us, the information you provide is stored in Google Workspace and governed by Google's privacy policy. We use this information only for campaign purposes and do not share it with third parties.
Your rights under Montana law.
Under the Montana Consumer Data Privacy Act (effective October 1, 2024), Montana residents have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, and to opt out of data processing for targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or profiling. If you have submitted the sign-up form and wish to access, correct, or delete your information, contact us directly and we will respond promptly. We do not sell your data and do not use it for targeted advertising, so those opt-out rights are satisfied by default.
